"Vision and Persistence: How strategic projects can still be built" to feature Freedom Towers developer

Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate Studies conference also will feature team behind new Canon USA headquarters in Melville

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Larry Silverstein, developer of the Freedom Towers on the site of the former World Trade Center, will deliver the keynote address at a conference at Hofstra University’s Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate Studies.

"Vision and Persistence: How strategic projects can still be built," will take place on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 8:15-11:30 a.m. in the Student Center Theater, Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, North Campus. The conference, presented by Hofstra Law School and the Institute of Real Estate at Hofstra University, also will feature a panel discussion with the development team behind the new Canon USA headquarters in Melville.

The panel on the Canon headquarters development will be moderated by visiting Assistant Professor Ashira Ostrow of Hofstra Law School and will feature Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy; Town of Huntington Councilman Mark Cuthbertson; Seymour Liebman, executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel, Canon U.S.A., Inc.; Gerald Monter, chief executive officer, The Holiday Organization; and Howard M. Stein, Esq., Chairman of the Real Estate Practice Group, Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP.
