Hofstra University Office of Student Financial Services Hosts Financial Aid Workshop

Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 7 p.m.

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – The Office of Student Financial Services at Hofstra University is hosting a Financial Aid workshop on Thursday, January 12 at 7 p.m. in the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center multipurpose room, North Campus. Check-in begins at 6:45 p.m.

This workshop is free and is open to all high school students and their families, regardless of where they plan to apply to college.

During the workshop, financial aid counselors will demonstrate how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and discuss federal and state grant programs.

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is open Monday/Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Please note that the University will be closed from December 23,2010-January 2, 2011.
