Hofstra University Hosts Programs and Events Focused on Finding New Career Opportunities in the New Year
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Throughout January, Hofstra University will host a series of programs, in addition to regularly scheduled admissions and enrollment events, to provide information about the job market, professional careers and trends in the marketplace.

The Next Wave: Career Opportunities in Business
Dr. Joel Evans, the RMI Distinguished Professor of Business, leads a discussion with economists and regional business leaders about labor market trends, the job market, and opportunities for growth. Hofstra University Provost and renowned economist Dr. Herman Berliner moderates the discussion. This panel discussion is free and open to the public.

Dr. David Foulk, dean of the School of Education, Health and Human Services, leads a distinguished panel of education and health care experts in a discussion about trends in human services, and how to build meaningful careers in education, health care administration, counseling and other human services. This panel discussion is free and open to the public.
