CEO OF KETCHUM PUBLIC RELATIONS TO SPEAK AT HOFSTRA
Raymond Kotcher to discuss "The World of Public Relations: Seven Headlines for '07"
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Raymond Kotcher, CEO and senior partner of Ketchum Public Relations, will speak at Hofstra University on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 7 p.m. about his experiences in the global public relations and business communication world.
Mr. Kotcher's discussion is sponsored by Hofstra University's School of Communication and Hofstra's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. The discussion will take place in Lowenfeld Exhibition Hall, 10th floor, Joan and Donald E. Axinn Library, south campus. The talk is free and open to the public.
Mr. Kotcher frequently makes speaking appearances and discusses a wide range of public relations issues such as globalization, technology advancement and the world of the shifting media.
Mr. Kotcher joined Ketchum in 1993 as a vice president, moved to president of the agency in 1992, and was named CEO in June of 2000. Under his leadership Ketchum was named PRWeek's 2002 Agency of the Year. In 2001, Ketchum and its clients were recognized with 10 Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Awards, the U.S. industry's highest honor. Founded in 1923, Ketchum is one of the world's leading public relations agencies, with five major global practices and a worldwide network of public relations specialists.
Mr. Kotcher serves as a board member for the Council of Public Relations is a member of the World Economic Forum and PR Seminar. Mr. Kotcher is also a trustee of the Arthur W. Page Society and the Institute for Public Relations.
