18 School of Education, Health and Human Services Faculty Members Celebrated for Authoring Scholarly Work
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – The School of Education, Health and Human Services will hold a reception to recognize the scholarly accomplishments of 18 of its published faculty members on Friday March 27, 2009 in the Hagedorn Hall lobby from 3-4:30 p.m.
In the past two years, 18 full-time and adjunct faculty members have published 17 books and 11 book chapters. The recognition session will honor these authors’ contribution to the field. It will be followed by a short reception with a display of the published works.
The following School of Education, Health and Human Services faculty will be recognized for their accomplishments: Joan Atwood, Monica Byrne-Jimenez, Stephen Caldas, Alan Flurkey, Nora Friedman, Doris Fromberg, Andrea Garcia Obregon, Tanya Gordon, Laurie Johnson, Judith Kaufman, Janice Koch, Maureen Miletta, Jamie Mitus, Andrea Perkins, Sage Rose, Jeffrey Rosenfeld, Alan Singer and Estelle Weinstein.
David Foulk, dean of the School of Education, Health and Human Services will introduce the faculty and their work, while Hofstra Provost Herman Berliner will deliver remarks.
