Axinn Library Electronic Article Delivery Service Request Form
Use this form to request electronic delivery of an article in a print journal owned by Axinn Library.

Library Research Orientation and Instruction Classes
Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes to the Library for in-depth coverage of resources available in support of their courses and assignments.

To schedule a class, please contact Library Assistant Diane McPartland at 463-5966, or you can schedule library instruction online with our Library Instruction Request Form (for faculty only please).

Faculty may also schedule library instruction online with a Library Instruction Request Form and are encouraged to review the Guidelines for Assignment-Based Classes.

Google Scholar
Beta version facilitating searches across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.

Book Delivery Request Form
Faculty can use this online form to request on-campus book delivery for materials from the Joan and Donald E. Axinn Library. Requested books will be delivered to faculty during office hours, within two business days of the request. There is the option to have the books delivered to the department office if a faculty member will not be present to receive the books. If books are not available for delivery, library staff will notify the requestor with detailed information.

Book Storage Retrieval Request Form
Faculty members may request books from storage using this form. Books will be retrieved within two business days. You will receive notification via telephone and e-mail.

Plagiarism Detection
Faculty may access Turnitin, the plagiarism detection tool, directly through Blackboard. Follow these step-by-step instructions.  

IngentaConnect's InTouch Email Alerting Service
Supports the faculty's research needs, enabling them to:

  • Request alerts when new issues of their favorite publications are available online
  • Create searches relevant to research topics, and receive alerts when new results are found
  • Upload data from email alerts into bibliographic tools
  • Manage their alerts according to their own preferences and research needs
  • Become more self-sufficient in managing and locating the current research they need
