Library Research Orientation

The Axinn Library provides instruction in library use at several levels. Direct interaction with Hofstra University faculty, administrators, and students takes place at the Reference Desk and on the telephone. Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes to the library for in-depth coverage of resources available in support of their course. Finally, a required course is now being offered in business.

To schedule a class, please contact Library Assistant Diane McPartland at 463-5966, or you can schedule library instruction online with our Library Instruction Request Form (for faculty only please).

To discuss ways the library can support your classroom teaching, please contact Professor Deborah Dolan at 463-4910.
