How Can Parents Support Academic Integrity?
On Wednesday, February 29, 2012, Dr. Warren Frisina, Professor of Philosophy and Religion and Dean of Hofstra University Honors College, conducted a live chat with Hofstra parents on the topic of academic integrity. He is the co-chair of Hofstra’s Task Force on Integrity and Responsibility, a committee consisting of faculty, students and administrators, focused on promoting a culture of integrity on campus. In the video below, he outlined the initiatives spearheaded by this group, and discussed how parents can support Hofstra students in fostering the climate of academic honesty. Dr. Frisina also answered parent questions.
