Family Weekend
Thursday-Sunday, September 23-26, 2010
Please join us on campus for our annual Family Weekend, which this year will be an extra special event since it coincides with Hofstra’s 75th Anniversary Celebration and Alumni Weekend. We are planning for great events, including birthday cake cutting ceremony (cake made by Charm City Cakes, contestant on the Food Network’s Ace of Cakes), tours of the arboretum and the museum, history-of-Hofstra lectures, gallery exhibits, great meals with other Hofstra students and families, faculty lectures, Kate and William Hofstra Honor Roll and President’s Reception, student performances (including Hofstra’s Got Talent), barbecue and carnival, parade of student-made floats, an amazing outdoor concert, Live at 75, gathering bands from all decades, fireworks by Grucci, and Jimmy Fallon’s live comedy show.
