Welcome Day and Moving into Residence Halls

We welcome first-year students, Class of 2012, and their families on Thursday,  August 28, 2008. This is the start of Welcome Week for residential and commuting first-year students (http://www.hofstra.edu/welcomeweek). Your residential student's move-in schedule will be mailed during the summer. Commuting students check in at noon.

When driving to campus to register for Welcome Week, please enter through the main gate to north campus (coming from Meadowbrook Parkway on Hempstead Turnpike west, make right at the third light, just before the second unispan). Then, follow the signs to the Welcome Week Check-In Tent on Intramural Fields. After your residential student receives Welcome Week materials, you will drive to your student's residence hall. Don't miss President's Welcome at 3 p.m.!

Both commuting and residential families are cordially invited to attend the parent and family program:
