Hofstra Family Connection Newsletter

Published each semester, the newsletter informs you about student and campus issues and reminds you of important deadlines. Parents are also invited to submit their "Parent Voice" articles, describing their experiences and funny anecdotes. Our parent newsletter is mailed to students' home addresses twice a year, in October and February. Please let us know if you are not receiving it by sending us an E-mail.

Hofstra Family Link E-Newsletter

The e-letter is an informal monthly e-mail that discusses current topics of interest to Hofstra parents and families and reminds them of deadlines and resources. We receive parent e-mail addresses if students noted them during the admission process, and usually add them to our list each summer. If you are not receiving the e-letter and want to subscribe (or unsubscribe), please e-mail us; we need your name(s), address, phone number, your student's name and Hofstra ID. Please make sure to add Hofstra domain to your trusted list in order for your e-mail provider not to block our e-mails.

Hofstra Parent and Family Handbook

Hofstra Parent and Family Handbook is mailed to all incoming first-year families as a part of the student's welcome packet. A guide to Hofstra campus and offices, it describes the transitions of first academic year, provides an overview of advisement and academic resources, and outlines important issues facing your first year student. It also serves as your resource throughout the four years with phone numbers and addresses of campus offices. Please e-mail us to obtain a hard copy.

Parent Survey
