I'm a "Life is good" Californian from Petaluma who has fallen in love with NYC whose involved with organizations like Spectrum Players, Masquerade Musical Troupe, Danceworks and NRHH (Nation Residence Hall Honorary). If the beach is not a viable option, you can find me lounging with a book, singing, (off-key) with great friends, reciting Disney movies or obsessing over Harry Potter/The Hunger Games.

Bridget Magembe

Bridget Magembe

Bridget Magembe: I am a rising sophomore at Hofstra. I'm a Pre-med major who loves music and writes poetry in my spare time. When I'm stressed out I'll randomly break into dance because pouting is not an option. A fun fact about me is that I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and came to the United States when I was eight years old. Currently I live in Bean Town, Boston. Originally, my family is from Uganda, East Africa, so I am tri-lingual! I love just about all of the Disney Movies (The Lion King being my person favorite). Above all, I Love God and my wonderful family!

Liz Weeden

Liz Weeden

Liz Weeden: I will be a senior in the fall, studying both Public Relations and Global Studies with a minor in Marketing. I am from Penn Yan, NY on beautiful Keuka Lake in Upstate, New York. I am a member of Delta Gamma sorority, the non-profit group She's the First, WRHU-Radio Hofstra University, Student Government Association, and a Pride Guide. Last spring, I studied abroad in 10 countries for 10 weeks on the European Odyssey. I love my hometown ice cream, Seneca Farms, watching my favorite TV show Modern Family, and walking around Hofstra's lovely campus. Go Pride!

Class of 2017

Did You Know?

Each incoming class is assigned one of the four class colors (red, yellow, blue, green) that are rotated every four years. The Class of 2017 class color is yellow! The image of the lion on the class flag is taken from the original design found on the Hofstra Gonfalons. Keep an eye out for the Class of 2017 flag at class events during the next four years.
