Themed Living Communities

Do you and your friends share an interest that you would like to incorporate into your residential experience? If so, then themed living could be perfect for you!

Themed Living Communities offer upperclass students who share educational, social, or extracurricular interests the opportunity to live together in Nassau Hall. TLC residents explore their passions with a cohort of like-minded residents and enjoy an increased sense of belonging.  These communities are open to all students, regardless of major.  Prior participation in the First Year Living-Learning Communities is not required, but highly encouraged as the selection of students for the TLCs is highly competitive.

Eligible students must have a minimum 2.25 cumulative GPA and be in good disciplinary standing with the University. Students approved to reside in Themed Living Communities must participate in the completion of a minimum of two area-wide programs each semester and elect a Community Leader. Students residing in Themed Living Communities are not guaranteed to homestead their space for the following year.

How to apply:

  1. Submit your housing deposit
  2. Submit your housing application
  3. Complete TLC questions

Students accepted into the TLC program will be notified with additional information regarding the TLC Room Selection process. The deadline to apply for the TLC program is before the general housing selection deadline each year.
