Friday, September 24, 2010 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, September 25, 2010 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Diamond Pass

Parents, families and alumni have access to all events, except Live at 75 and An Evening of Comedy with Jimmy Fallon, with their Diamond Pass. Faculty, employees and students do not need a Diamond Pass for most events.

Parking and driving on campus

Due to the number and scope of some events, parking on campus may become limited. Look for parking in Field 6 (in the areas surrounding the arena) and in Field 7 (the parking lot that runs parallel to Oak Street). Parking is also available on the South Campus (which is about a 10 minute walk to the Student Center through the Unispan.)

Events on Saturday – Traffic warning

  1. Limited egress during the Homecoming Parade (late morning on Saturday) The Parade will march throughout North Campus from about 10:45 – noon on North Campus. After 11 a.m., we recommend entering campus and parking from the Oak Street entrance and going to Field 7. Be aware that the parade route goes past the Diamond Pass special parking area. If you are using your Diamond Pass parking credential, we recommend arriving prior to the parade or after 12 o’clock. Access to the parking area will be limited or slow while the floats are going by.
  2. FIREWORKS (7:45 – 8:15 p.m. Saturday evening) The Fireworks by Grucci show begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday. From 7:45 until about 10 minutes after the conclusion of the show, the roads around the Arena will be closed, at the intersection of Dome Road and Northern Boulevard, near the Softball Stadium. If you are coming to campus in the evening for Jimmy Fallon or for another event, please try to arrive on campus and park PRIOR to the beginning of the fireworks.
