Description: Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission the Admission Counselor is primarily responsible for all aspects of admission/recruiting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing prospective students, responding to student inquiries, visiting high schools, attending college day/night programs and reviewing applications. In addition, this position will complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.

This position is an on-site position, work will be preformed on campus.

Evening and weekend hours may be required in support of special projects, travel and events.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Candidate should possess strong communication skills both oral and written as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills. Working knowledge of PC-based word processing and spreadsheet programs will be advantageous. Ability to travel domestically when needed. Valid driver's license required.
