Description: The Hofstra University Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a one-year Special Assistant Professor position in physics. The department is looking for faculty committed to teaching at a liberal arts college with small class size. The department offers the BA and BS in Physics, and the BS in Applied Physics. The successful candidate must have a PhD in physics, an excellent established record of undergraduate physics instruction, and should be comfortable teaching every course in the undergraduate physics curriculum.
