Description:
|
Hofstra University’s Department of Population Health in the School of Health Professions and Human Services invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track line at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Health Care Administration. Research and/or teaching experience in population health, managed care, health care quality, and/or long term care (e.g., aging in place, home care) would align well with program needs; however, exceptional candidates with experience in other health services areas may be considered.
The Master of Health Administration (MHA) Program at Hofstra University is a large and dynamic program with the mission to prepare a community of impactful, practice-ready health care leaders through the provision and application of a health services knowledge base, communication skills, and leadership development. Academic-based faculty as well as health care professionals provide expertise and resources to the program offering students a rich theoretical and applied foundation in health care administration. Hofstra University offers both a CAHME-accredited residential MHA program as well as a separate, asynchronous online MHA program.
The School of Health Professions and Human Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering diversity in its faculty, administrative staff and student body. We especially encourage women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans and people with disabilities to apply.
