Description: Reporting to the Director, HofstraCard Servcies, the HofstraCard Administrator will support the daily administration of the Office of HofstraCard Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produces, issues and replaces ID cards.
• Produces Passport photos.
• Assists in managing the front desk.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Processes cash and check transactions.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance on card reader equipment.
• Utilizes the AutoTASK work order system in the performance of duties.
• Other administrative tasks associated with Hofstra ID cards and the Student Connections and Branding Program, as needed.

This position will work up to 16-20 hours a week between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday. Shifts will vary.
Qualifications: Required:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent oral communications skills.
• Collaborative, organized, and detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, cashiering, organizational and administrative skills.
• A proactive self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and the ability to work with students from diverse populations.
• Experience performing similar level administrative functions utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of a university environment.
• Some supervisory experience.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner, OneCard and work order processing software.
