Description: The Department of Writing Studies and Rhetoric at Hofstra University, Long Island, is seeking to fill anticipated part-time adjunct teaching positions. The position involves teaching the first- and/or second-semester required writing courses (WSC 1 or WSC 2) in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences during the fall 2022 semester.

Qualifications: A master’s degree in composition, creative writing, English, or a similar field is required. Experience in teaching composition at the college level is strongly preferred. Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in an educational environment.
