Description: The Hofstra University Department of Chemistry invites applications for a one-year Special Assistant Professor position beginning September 1, 2022. The position includes teaching either General Chemistry lecture and lab sequence or Organic Chemistry lecture and lab sequence. Teaching load is typically between 2 and 3 courses per semester: typical class size 10-50. The Chemistry department offers undergraduate degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Science. Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field is required by time of employment.
