Clinical Dental Assistant
Overview
This online program prepares you for the critical duties of a clinical dental assistant. You will master dental anatomy, infection control, pharmacology, and radiation health safety. The course also includes training on Dentrix Practice Management software.
Graduates receive vouchers for three components of the DANB exams (AMP, ICE, and RHS), fulfilling requirements for NELDA or CDA certifications.
Syllabus
- Dental Foundations: Anatomy, Physiology, Oral Pathology, and Ethics.
- Clinical Procedures: Chairside assisting, instruments, and anesthesia/sedation.
- Radiology: Radiation health safety and digital radiology techniques.
- Practice Management: Training with Dentrix Learning Software.
