Overview
This online training prepares you for a career in the HVAC/R industry using hands-on service call simulations. You will master refrigeration theory, gas laws, and the vapor-compression cycle. The course includes a Simulation Challenge Mode for practical skill development.
Graduates are prepared for industry-recognized certifications including HVAC Excellence, NATE, and EPA Section 608, ensuring you have the credentials needed for entry-level technician roles.
Syllabus
- Safety & Theory: Heat transfer, BTU, temperature, and matter/energy.
- System Basics: Evacuations, leak detection, system charging, and instruments.
- Electrical: Electricity for HVAC, electric motors, and troubleshooting controls.
- Systems: Commercial Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning (Heating/Cooling), and All-Weather Systems.
