Art Samansky
Art Samansky is the principal of The Samansky Group, a Long Island-based corporate communications consulting firm.
He has trained executives and other professionals across a variety of disciplines in presentation, speech, and media skills for nearly 60 years through his corporate communications and consulting roles. He also developed two proprietary coaching programs: Power-Speak© presentation and speech training and In-Control© media training.
Before forming The Samansky Group in late 2000, Art held communications positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, New York Stock Exchange, Securities Industry Association, HSBC Americas, and Stern & Co.
He began his career as a business and financial reporter in New York City at the New York World-Telegram & Sun/World Journal Tribune and later served as a copyeditor at AP-Dow Jones News Service. He also taught Business Presentation Skills and Business Communications as an adjunct instructor in the School of Business at SUNY at Old Westbury.
Art earned a Master of Arts degree in 1977 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965, both from New York University's evening division.
