Dr. Carle-Marie Memnon is the Assistant Vice President in the Academic Training Department for the HSS Education Institute at Hospital for Special Surgery. She is responsible for the administration, accreditation and oversight of the operations and strategic vision for the Graduate Medical Education programs. Dr. Memnon is a board-certified Health Care Executive with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Her background includes human resources, graduate medical education, budgeting, operations, project, and event planning.

Dr. Memnon is currently President for the National Association of Health Service Executives (NAHSE), New York Regional Chapter, a non-profit association promoting the advancement and development of black health care leaders and elevating the quality of health care services rendered to minorities and has served in various leadership capacities within NAHSE. Carle-Marie is a Fellow and Past Regent-At-Large for District 1 of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Past Chair of the Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY) Diversity Committee. She has served on several ACHE committees. Additionally, serves on the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) Volunteer Planning Committee. She has served as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. Carle-Marie also mentors undergraduate and graduate students. Carle-Marie is member of the Hofstra University School of Health Professions and Human Services Dean's Council and President of the Hofstra University Master of Health Administration (MHA) Alumni Association. She previously served as Vice President, MHA AA, 2018-2020.

Dr. Memnon received her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Fordham University. As an undergraduate student, Dr. Memnon volunteered in the Child Life Program at Montefiore Medical Center. Working alongside nurses, physicians and allied health professionals solidified her interest in healthcare. She holds a Master of Arts in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University. She earned a Certificate in Human Resources Studies from Cornell University. Dr. Memnon completed her doctorate degree in healthcare leadership and management at the Medical University of South Carolina.
