Program Overview

BitHub is a program for Computer Science students to connect with one other and apply their skills through collaborate projects, whether devised by faculty or otherwise.  This program was founded through collegial efforts in collaboration with Faculty Computing Services to encourage students to get involved in hands-on projects while providing a service to the Hofstra community at large.  The program supports student collaboration and gives students the opportunity to work on projects mentored by Computer Science faculty to enable students to sharpen their skills through real-world experience.  Additionally, BitHub promotes a free exchange of project ideas among students and faculty to foster innovation and connect individuals with overlapping interests.
