About Center for Educational Access and Success
The Center for Educational Access and Success includes various grant-funded initiatives supporting student success at many academic levels. The underlining theme is student support and success in the areas including science, technology, engineering and math.
The programs implemented by the center can be viewed on an educational continuum. Starting with the Teacher and Leader Quality Partnerships Program, where professional development is provided to Pre-K-5th grade teachers and continuing through to the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program, where college students are supported in science, technology, engineering and math.
Each program provides academic support leading to student success, while also promoting educational and/or vocational access. The Center fosters tutorial assistance, preparation for standardized exams, internships, faculty/student research, counseling, study skills, college and career workshops, leadership conferences, and summer enrichment programs, as well as professional development for teachers.
