We collaborate with Kaplan or Princeton Review to offer the SAT review course. High school juniors are encouraged to participate in SAT prep before their senior year. The course provides test-taking techniques.
Students engage in research opportunities at laboratories such as Cold Spring Harbor and Brookhaven National Laboratory. Topics include gene mutation, fingerprinting, bacterial transformation, DNA restriction and other related areas in science, math, technology and engineering. Students are also provided an opportunity to present research at the Annual STEP Statewide Student Conference.
