Seminars - Non-Hofstra Students
Training in Harassment, Bullying and Discrimination Prevention and Intervention as required under the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) - in accordance with Education Law Article 2 Sections 10-18
The only seminar available for Hofstra University alumni and non-Hofstra attendees is the Training in Harassment, Bullying and Discrimination Prevention and Intervention (DASA.)
The DASA seminar is state mandated six-hours of training. Currently, Hofstra offers the DASA training in one day for six hours. Beginning January 2017, we will also offer a two day training for three hours each day.
Hofstra University electronically reports the completion of the DASA seminar to the New York State Office of Teaching Initiatives (TEACH.) No paper certificates of completion will be given out. Please make sure you have created a TEACH account prior to attending the seminar.

Please bring something to write with and a lunch to our one day seminar. There will not be time to leave and get lunch.
The presenter for our weekday DASA seminar requires that the attendee print out and a very large hand out (72 pages.) This handout will not be supplied by Hofstra University.
