June 5, 2013 – Seventh Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Presentation by Patrick J. Foye, Executive Director, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
The Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate and The Institute of Real Estate @ Hofstra University held a scholarship lunch on June 5, 2013. Patrick J. Foye, Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey presented a keynote address. Prior to joining the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, he served as deputy secretary for economic development for Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. Mr. Foye was Executive Vice President of AIMCO, a real estate investment trust and a component of the S&P 500, served as President and CEO of the United Way of Long Island and was a mergers and acquisitions partner at Skadden Arps. He delivered an address outlining the major projects that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have recently accomplished, including the Freedom Tower, and outlined the Authority’s plans for the future.
