Portfolios I: The 1970's
May 26 - August 14, 2015
Emily Lowe Gallery
This is the first in a planned series of exhibitions highlighting distinctive artist portfolios of prints and photographs in the Museum’s permanent collections; each exhibit will showcase portfolios in their entirety. Each portfolio represents selected images that the artist intends to be viewed as a group, with clear connections between the selected works. Works by Robert Rauschenberg and Larry Rivers are among those that will be featured in Portfolios I: The 1970s.
This exhibition is made possible with funding from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
Additional exhibition funding has been provided by New York Community Bank Foundation.
