The mission of the Center for Entrepreneurship is to provide Hofstra University's students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community with the skills and training necessary to become accomplished entrepreneurs and to serve as a leader in Long Island's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The mission of the Scott Skodnek Business Development Center is to help businesses on Long Island and in the metropolitan area succeed in their business enterprises. The BDC offers resources for business support and education through programs open to members of the community.

ideaHUb
A NYS Certified Business Incubator that connects companies to student interns, mentorship, provides professional service reimbursement, and is part of the Long Island Innovation Hot Spot.

Healthcare Entrepreneurship Community Challenge
Support entrepreneurs developing products and services that advances health equity

Ascend Long Island
Provides vital resources to diverse businesses in the areas of procurement, access to capital, and access markets. Primarily supported by JPMorgan Chase, also sponsored by the PSEGLI Foundation and Long Island Community Foundation.

Hofstra-Digital Remedy Venture Challenge
An annual entrepreneurship competition for Hofstra students with total prizes valued at $75,000.

Hofstra Veterans Venture Challenge
A Business accelerator for veterans, military spouses, and Gold Star Families around the U.S. with over $100,000 in prizes.

Entrepreneurship Assistance Center
A 60-hour training program for businesses starting up or expanding.

MWBE Technical Assistance
The EAC provides hands-on technical assistance with the New York State MWBE Certification application process.

Unispan Records
Offers students real-life experience recording, producing, promoting and distributing music.
