Professor Cafarelli employs a student-centered pedagogy. This teaching approach is enhanced by the use of the state-of-the-art information and communication technologies in the business school classrooms. Student involvement is required and is considered a necessary "contribution" to the class. Current events are integrated into the curriculum in order to illustrate the real-life application of theory and text book concepts. Professor Cafarelli coaches students to engage in critical thinking and learning, rather than memorization. She seeks to prepare students professionally as well as academically.
