Edward N. Aw

Mr. Aw holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He received a B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and an M.B.A. from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.

Mr. Aw is currently a Managing Director and the Head of Quantitative Strategies Group at Bessemer Trust. Bessemer Trust is one of the oldest and largest wealth management firms with a "family office" tradition. Begun as the Phipps family office in 1907, Bessemer today supervises more than $95 billion in assets on behalf of more than 2,200 clients. Bessemer's singular focus is providing wealth management services to high-net-worth families and their family businesses, trusts, and foundations. As the Head of Quantitative Strategies Group, Mr. Aw oversees the development of tools to enhance security selection, portfolio construction and risk management. Mr. Aw is also a Portfolio Manager for the Strategic Opportunities Fund. Prior to joining Bessemer in 2004, he was a quantitative analyst for five years at Deutsche Investment Management Americas. Previously he had also worked for The Dreyfus Corporation, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley in various analytic roles. Mr. Aw's research work has been published in the Applied Financial Economics and the Journal of Investing.
