Bio

Since 2001, I have been teaching ESL at colleges in New York City, and I started working at Hofstra in 2013. During my career as a professor, I have learned to teach academic material in a fun and dynamic way. My focus is on maintaining a communicative class that meets all students? needs. Teaching international students is very enlightening, giving me a broader perspective of the world and a deeper understanding of other cultures. It?s also very fulfilling to see my students achieve their academic and professional goals. In my free time, I enjoy my cats, yoga, cooking, good books and journalism, and classical music on my favorite radio station, WQXR!
