Bio

Dr. Schroeder’s expertise and interests are in language processing and the relationship between language processing and non-linguistic cognition. He currently has 3 major lines of research. (1) Research examining the effects of bilingualism on language processing and non-linguistic cognition. (2) Research investigating how well listeners remember the speech of a speaker with a communication disorder. (3) Research applying our understanding of language and cognitive processes to medical settings, such as the prevention of drug name errors.
