MS and Advanced Certificate programs in Gerontology: Healthy Aging.

Pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Gerontology: Healthy Aging at Hofstra University and become a leader in the fast-growing field of aging services. The 36-credit curriculum prepares students to work with the aging population with a basic interdisciplinary background in gerontology and consists of relevant coursework in health administration, public health, counseling, and speech-language pathology.

An 18-credit advanced certificate is also available and can be completed alongside a relevant master’s degree program or as a stand-alone program, post-baccalaureate or post-master’s.

The programs provide the foundation needed for many different career pathways, including fulfillment of education requirements for the Geriatric Care Management Certification.
