All individuals have the right to make decisions about their bodies and health care. They have the right to make these decisions in consultation with their health care providers and in a way that supports their needs. These are deeply personal decisions, best made between a patient and their health care provider. Furthermore, healthcare professionals have certain obligations and codes of ethics to which we must adhere and remain dedicated to providing the best possible health care to our campus and the communities we serve.
