What does it mean to be a team captain?
Team captains will be the first contact with information regarding the site location, meeting times, and other specific details for the day of service. Team captains should check their Hofstra e-mail regularly and be in contact with all members of the team to disseminate information. Teams can be comprised of student clubs, organizations, or a group of individuals who do not have any affiliation with a club or organization. All individuals who apply without a team will be placed in a group of volunteers for the day of service.

Are you interested in being a Student Coordinator?
Student coordinators will act as liaisons for the event-marketing, recruiting, and assisting with the planning process. Student coordinators will be responsible for attending planning meetings in the weeks leading up to the event and should regularly check their Hofstra e-mail address for information. Please e-mail OSLA@hofstra.edu for more information about meeting times and information about how to get involved.
