HOFnews Guidelines for Student Organizations

HOFnews is a regular email distributed to administrators, faculty, and staff to advertise events and provide information pertinent to University employees. Student organizations may use HOFnews to advertise for events that are open to University employees.

Requests for HOFnews from student organizations must be submitted through the assigned administrative advisor within the Division of Student Affairs. Student organizations that do not know their administrative advisor should contact the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement at osle[at]hofstra.edu

A HOFnews submission must include:

  • Title of event
  • Date and time of event
  • Brief description of event
  • Name of student organization sponsoring the event
  • Contact information for student organization sponsoring the event

All announcements by student organizations over HOFnews are subject to approval by the Division of Student Affairs and the University Relations Office.
