Julie Duenges is a board-certified behavior analyst with more than 10 years of experience in designing and implementing educational and recreational programs for students with autism and other disabilities. In 2007, Julie created, and continues to supervise, the REACH Program for Hofstra Summer Camps. She received a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an advanced degree in teaching students with autism from Brooklyn College. She is currently a special education teacher in the Herricks School District’s STRIVE program, designed specifically for educating children with autism spectrum disorders.
