The Department of Chemistry is located in Berliner Hall. Our modern building is well-equipped and houses classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, and a teaching computer laboratory. Small laboratory class sizes promote close student-faculty interaction and hands-on use of our sophisticated equipment. The building houses a small computer laboratory and there are several large computer facilities on campus available to all Hofstra students. Students have access to all the American Chemical Society journals as well as other selected chemical literature on-line in addition to the large collection of chemical books and journals available in the University’s main library.
