Master of Arts
- M.A. in English Literature
While maintaining a strong emphasis in British and American literary traditions as well as established forms of literary scholarship, the program is committed to the teaching of multicultural literatures written in English and to encouraging the pursuit of a broad range of theoretical, historical and interdisciplinary concerns. Master of Fine Arts
- Creative Writing
Hofstra’s MFA in Creative Writing offers a challenging and exciting program of study integrating literary scholarship and focused instruction in writing. Students may concentrate in dramatic writing, fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction, exploring the art and craft of writing while grounding themselves in the rich literary traditions that offer exemplary models of these forms.
