Music Library

A valid Hofstra ID card is required for using the library.

Books and scores may be borrowed for a four week circulation period. Records, tapes and CD's may be borrowed ONLY by music faculty. The Librarian or a student aide must sign out all borrowed material.

The Library includes individual listening facilities and a listening room. The individual facilities (for records, cassette tapes or CD's) are available for students during Library hours. The listening room may be used for classes only when no individuals are using the facilities and should be reserved in advance.

There are study tables available in both the Library and Listening Room. They may be used at any time, but students are reminded that this is a library. Loud talk and eating is absolutely forbidden. The Librarian has the right to eject anyone who is not respectful of the rights of others using this facility.
