Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)

About CSTEP

The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) supports Hofstra University undergraduate and graduate students interested in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) or fields that require pre-licensure. The program offers numerous student support services which include tutorial assistance, academic conferences and workshops, advising and a textbook loaner program, to name a few. The intent of CSTEP is to ensure that students gain professional development skills to obtain a career in a STEM field or gain acceptance into graduate school. The program also offers a summer academy for incoming first-year and transfer students. This comprehensive three-week long academy introduces students to possible career fields and provides building blocks necessary for academic success.
