ANGER MANAGEMENT GROUPS AND WORKSHOPS
Anger Management
Joan D. Atwood, Ph.D.
Director, Graduate Programs in Marriage and Family Therapy

While anger is a normal human condition, too much anger is not healthy. Hofstra's MFT Clinic assists individuals of various ages in learning about their anger. Participants explore their "anger styles," and "anger buttons." They examine how they learned to be angry in the first place. They explore how their anger is costing them friends, jobs, partners and others. Finally they learn and practice "anger busting" new ways of living without anger.

The following groups are accepting registrants:
* The Children's Group
* The Teen Group
* The Adult Group
* Managing Anger in the Workplace
