Graduate Programs

Take the next big step in your education and your career with a graduate degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University. Our programs mix traditional study with hands-on experiential learning, so you get to apply what you learn in the classroom in a real-life setting. Qualify for licensure as a mental health counselor in New York State with the CACREP-accredited MA in Mental Health Counseling. Become qualified for your initial certification as a school counselor with the MSEd in School Counseling. You can also earn advanced certificates in Addiction and Substance Abuse and in Mental Health Counseling. Dual degree programs are available so you can earn both your undergraduate and graduate degree in just 5-6 years.
