Bio:
Alex Roskin studied sculpture at Alfred University before he entered a traditional English-style furniture apprenticeship program. With these skills Alex was honored to work with Richard Scott Newman, whose pieces take upwards of one year to create. Alex then entered the Rhode Island School of Design's furniture program where he earned his M.F.A. degree. Upon completion of his graduate work, Alex set up a design/build studio in North Adams, MA. Alex went on to teach at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the industrial design department. Alex is currently creating a new design/build studio in Claverack, NY.
