Bio:

Dr. Bellman received a Doctorate in Professional Studies from Pace University, and an MBA and BBA from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Before coming to Hofstra, Dr. Bellman taught entrepreneurship and international business full-time at Touro's Graduate School of Business, as well as undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship, marketing, and management at Touro College for 3 years. He also was co-founder of the Center for Israeli Innovation at Touro. Prior to Touro, Dr. Bellman taught entrepreneurship, management, and marketing courses full-time at the Sy Syms School of Business, Yeshiva University for more than 8 years, and organized and ran an annual business plan competition, using distinguished panels from industry and government. He also taught marketing and international business undergraduate courses at Pace University and at Hofstra as an adjunct prior to Yeshiva.

Dr. Bellman was Director of the Rennert Entrepreneurial Institute at Yeshiva University and also served as Director of Touro's Entrepreneurial Institute while teaching there.

He has articles published in the Review of Business, Business Horizons, Journal of Entrepreneurial Education, Journal of the American Telemarketing Association, and the U.S. Army War College.

Dr. Bellman serves on the Board of Directors for several not-for-profit organizations as well as Board of Advisors for several entrepreneurial start-ups.

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Bellman worked in the telecommunications and information technology sector, serving in various marketing positions ranging from Regional Sales Director to Vice President of Sales.
