The HofstraCard is your key to ease, convenience and opportunity at Hofstra. It is your student photo identification and more. It is used to gain access to the wonderful facilities like our Fitness Center, technology labs and residence halls. Your HofstraCard is also a tool used to access dining plans, PridePrint and other services using Dutch Debits. In addition, when outside of Hofstra's campus remember to show your HofstraCard at retail stores for perks, as a number of them often offer discounts for students.
Furthermore, be sure to plan accordingly when adding points to either your dining plan or Dutch Debit accounts. Dutch Debits can be used in the bookstore, Wellness Center, and at certain events held on campus. Existing points from the fall will carry over to the spring but all unused points are forfeited each year, the day following Spring Commencement. Dining points carry over from the fall to spring semester when you secure a plan at equal or greater value for the spring semester. As with Dutch Debits, unused points are forfeited each year, the day following spring commencement. In addition, once placed on your HofstraCard, Dutch Debits and dining points are nonrefundable and the balance may not be transferred to any other account, so please calculate your anticipated costs carefully.

The easiest way to add to either account is by credit card using the online system through the student portal at: Make an Online Deposit.
If you wish to use cash, check or a money order you can come in person to the HofstraCard Services office located in the Mack Student Center. If you are in need of further assistance, please call the HofstraCard Office at (516) 463-6942, or visit us in room 110 of the Student Center.
