About Pre-Law Advisement

Services Provided:

The Center for University Advisement advises Hofstra undergraduate students and alumni interested in entering law school, from the moment they express such an interest through the professional school application process. we can help you with:

• Selecting an appropriate major
• Information on resources to prepare for the law school admissions process
• Referrals to workshops on topics such as:
  • Law school application and admission
  • Writing personal statements
  • Techniques on how to strengthen your law school application
• Internship opportunities

Office Hours and Appointments:

Students are encouraged to make an appointment with their Advisement dean and the Pre-law advisor to discuss their interest and plans for pursuing law school. Students should contact the Center for University Advisement at (516) 463-6770 or (516) 463-7222 or via E-mail to make an appointment.

Monday-Friday 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
